Taking authentic dancehall to the electronic stage can be a little tricky, but each of these dudes know the deal with crossover territory and have been pushing the boundaries with major releases and collaborations in their respective corners. For this new double dose of versions from Toddla’s Girls Music imprint, you get a taste of raw dancehall vibes inna moombahton fashion. The artist formerly known as Lexxus is in vintage form, riding the signature 108bpm riddim with his distinctive flow, and a couple nods to hip-hop.
