Swedish rockers Christian Karlsson and Pontus Winnberg were childhood friends and grew up playing in bands and working on various projects in studios throughout Göteborg (that’s Gothenburg too the rest of us) Sweden’s second city and home of both Volvo and Hasselblad.

We’ve known for a long time that reggae, dreads, and the island lifestyle are a tremendous part of the skateboard, surf and snowboard culture. While hip hop and rock genres have dominated the musical side of corporate marketing scheme for most extreme sports brands, it seems Snowboarding’s top brand Burton have made some moves to incorporate some Reggae branding for this coming season that goes beyond just the typical red, gold and green stripes.
