Good morning! In case you hadn’t noticed, Natalie Storm has been killing it this week, taking North America by um, you know. Last Friday she and fellow badda gal Tifa shared the stage with stole the spotlight from Ricky Blaze and Mr. Lexx at the Federation Sound’s release party for the Max Glazer Scion EP. Monday she hosted Rice & Peas and tonight we splash out at Brand New Machine for the launch of her own Federation project Songs 2 F@#k and Fight 2 (flyer after the jump), followed by scheduled appearances at the hippest parties on both coasts (Flashing Lights and Tormenta Tropical, respectively). But somehow in the middle of that she found time to squeeze off a thousand bpms of soca music just to keep her island-girl credentials intact. Wake up to wuk up!

Happy Monday. Ugh. We wish we could upload a steaming mug of Blue Mountain coffee and link it to you but that technology is still being tested. We can, however, beam out a few liters of premium-blend reggae, dancehall, soca, dubstep and champeta which will have a similar effect on your sluggish monday-morning metabolism. When it hit you, I’m told, you feel no pain…and it’s even said (by Jahdan) that it “nice like a coffee whey in a ther-mos!” Music we a talk bout, the free kind and there’s a lot of it, so let’s get started or you’ll still be downloading next monday:

Our boy Max Glazer has a lot to celebrate–this Friday he’s throwing himself a huge birthday party and Leftside aka Mr Evil and Glazer’s Federation partners Alric and Boyd are coming up for the event. Alric and Boyd are combining their inter-island party The Mix (that they keep in Barbados, Jamaica, and now New York) with the Friday weekly “Re-Opened” in Chinatown at Santos Party House.
