To celebrate the 40th anniversary of its Desert Trek shoe, Clarks Originals has connected with storied British reggae label, Trojan Records, for a limited-edition “Trojan Trek” shoe. In Jamaica and in the LargeUp offices, we know the Desert Trek is far better by the street name, “bankrobbers,” a reference to the long stitch running through the center of the shoe, like a bank robber darting through the streets after a heist (though perhaps the name just stuck because of badman’s preference for the style). The 40th anniversary shoe is available in three styles, each with the Clarks Desert Trek man imprinted on the back; the tan leather model also features Trojan Records’s iconic logo on the side. No info yet on what stores might be carrying these, but here’s one link we found where you can buy.

Actually they are called bankrobbers because the dude on the back of the shoe looks like he just robbed a bank and has a bag of money on his back…that what i learned in high school…I’m Jamaican.
it mad ennu pawdi!!!!…now they need a matching trojan 40th anniversary toothbrush fi get out di dust fast
